Above is a study of the secret Arch for the self tacking cutter sail. Target is to get the rail as low as possible but still good working. In the future I would like to have a furling on the Cutter stay also.
Windrudder (experimental) in place. To the right is the anchor "kranbalk" arm that will keep the anchor off the hull and outside the swimplatform aft. Visible is also the mechanical of the homemade servopendulum windrudder.
Aft had got the hatch in place. Also welded two smaller bollards for the dingy. Also the radar arch will lay on these when folded backwards. Rarely I hope.
The aft deck prototype in cheap wood. Look ok so time to saw one of the huge teak logs into planks...
Hmm windsheild and bimini and sprayhood and main sail stuff...
Above is the boom at correct location and suitable hight - for me 1.90 m. I'm 1.80 so good clearense.
Right is the reefs 1-4 and outhaul.
Winches needed. All lines have to go clear from deck and things. I needed to raise the genua block from the deck....
Yes they are a bit ugly but really a must have. Anyway they are quite out of the feet passage here. The round corners will eas the pain it hitted with my little tows.
So when the flowers started to pop up of the ground nature stikes back...well it only last for three days...
Outlet for the drying closet...step by step
(No i hadn't any tube with diam 75mm just a 90mm)
Two Jack-Stays fastenings found their place upon aft deck.
(No, the advanced calculations is not used for the jack-stay ;-)
I removed this beautiful (actually) but i big rosttrap to place a more modern variant. On this part of the Bimini will be mounted.
Above left in down position, above center up/sail position, left below locked and no-noise position...
Aft anchoring is very good when you enters an slooping island. Som alla Ranrikebor vet!
