The two pictures above show both side where the plates where replaced due to corrosion from inside. The cause was condensing air from inside the boat. The insulation of the hull must cover metal. As soon there is hull-metal in contact with air inside, the metal will get wet and start to drip, drip drip...

All stringers below waterline has been replaced and lifted from hull plate about 10 mm with welded support against the hull.

The keel ballast of scrapsteel and concrete has been taken out and replaced with lead in the same weight but with half the volume. Above the lead steelplats was welded waterproof. You see the welding marks as horizontal lines on the left picture. The white dots is control holes during lead pooring.

The boat had hit some rocks with the keel and the tip was a bit bent. So I removed the curvy plates and welded on som straight pices. Thick and very strong.
This is a view from below of the rudder stops. They are welded directly onto the hull. Extremly strong! I will replace these with something more smooth so seagrass and stuff is more easy to remove and maybe more silent. The rudder angle is 60 degrees and but I want about 80.

The exthause pipe and bilgepump outlets will be replaced with new stainless ones.
All plates was welded on both sides. All the inside of the hull has been sandblasted and painted with Jotun Epoxi, Jotamastic 87.
