Favorite occupation onboard, homemade stout.
My bandsaw is ready. Missing some safety cover for the blade.
Lets try to cut some wood...
My car leaking oil - time to renew some gaskets.
To the left is the famous waterleak for these engine "Transfer pipe" Wow! Rubbish. The whole operation is not complicated lots and lots of stuff to remove - thats the challange. Looks seriuos - isn't.
To the right is the quite oily interiour of the adjustible intake on a N62TU 4.8 BMW engine. I had little blue smoke on acceleration after some idling. With cleaning & replacing gasktes of head ventilation all is gone. So diagnose this first: is there oil in the intake? Then you DON'T have worn valve sealings that so many talk about.N62TU is not the same as an N62 engine.
Jobs done! :-)No oil or water consumtion. The orange round gaskets/valves is the reason for blue smoke/oil in intake. The rubber gets hard and dont seal against the dirty valvcover.
