I decided to remove the drains from the seat in the cockpit. from my point of view they is more of a trouble then good. It cockpit is filled then there is probably so bad weather that it will be running out soon enough. But the drain in the floor is still to be made.
Her's the hole on the inside. If the tube between the pipes is not 100% straight there will be water standing in the tube. So when you want it at least it will poor out  and wet your - no my - bottom!

Also the planned teak will be easier to get into place without these holes.
One perfect day we got two of our kids and went for a walk down to the sea and a picknick on our nearest island. It's a bit scary to walk on the salt-ocean-ice as it can be more rotten then sweet water ice.

Below is a photo from the islands picknick place back to our harbor shore.

Here's the Seatiger on the shelf. Painted with PU-hardtop. The 12 mm iron gypsy is mounted and the 10 mm bronze gypsy/rope is laying down.

Forget the oil-instead-of-grease idéas! When pumping the windlass the wheels inside dosn't rotate, they go just forward and back ward too! At least the one lowest inside. Witch mean that it wont transport oil upwards to the other wheels.

The windlass is somewhat noisy with a ratteling sound - is this as it should bee?

Using grease will probably remove mutch of this noise...
