The starter battery needed replacement after 11 years. Same brand and size went in.
It seems small with 55Ah for the size of the engine, 3.8 liters diesel but infact the start battery can deliver enough current for a diesel bleeding session.
Super Quality Battery and 70mm2 cable area to the starter does the job well!
In emergency the Domestic battery is also able to serve as at starter battery too. Jump start cable for this is onboard.
Still 2020 but now after the summer.
Family and close friends still healty.
No end in sight of the pandemic.
Not needed but,
To be able to re-arrange the start battery 90 degrees I made a supporting plate, or if in the future a battery of another size is installed. (Read - in emergency times)
Made some "cleaning" in the power distribution area.
Top left is standard 220V outlet (from transformer) for the 220/2000W water/boat heater. Nice to make it powerless easy.
Below that is fuses for Diesel heater and bilgepumps. Separated from switchpanel so you can't switch them of unintentionally. Bilgepumps are automatic and you can't turn them off by any switch.
Below again is the sunpanel regulator. Next right is the relay for the main bilge pump - a heavy duty one.
Then Pos and Neg distribution points, further right currentsensor, fuse for windmill, and the BIG 150A fuse for Inverter/Charger with it's 50mm2 cables.
Above that is the Superwind regulator - dump resistors inside engine room (they get warm).

Replaced the deckwash pump which was way to week.
The new one sends water half way the length of the boat so cleaning anchor chain has improved a lot.
Old pump will stay on board as a spare for the freshwater pump.
and some quality time of my own...
Kantareller med persilja på nyrostat bröd.
öh, och nytvättade kallingar.
Chainlocker and forepeek redesign.
The chain is a huge 12mm ISO so it really needs hight to pack it self properly. We have had occassions where the chain was stacked in the tube below deck and we also normally needed to pack by hand during rolling up the anchor. So for safty and comfort - anchor-wise we excluded the No 8 bed in the fore peek in favour for anchoring with this big box.
With this it's still a desent place for one person to sleep but the major improvment is that we now can raise our anchor without any need to hand-pack the chain. Even the last/first 30 meter och rope falls down in the locker now.
...and with that new cloth went on in the fore peeks matresses - here mounting buttons.
Bimini is rolled up just behind cockpit - must been very nice weather that day...
