A new filler lid for the freshwater cooling system was needed. In the aluminium there was a iron ring pressed in to witch I solder in a new lid holder. Now I have good use for the Oxygen/Acetylen gas-welder as quite a lot of heat is needed due to aluminium leads heat so well.
I will move the fuel and water filler "holes" sligtly to get them on to a new stainless plate welded into deck surface. You can se the square. This is the 50 mm fuel filler. The idea is that i need to bolt the filler to deck and I don't want any rust in the future here.
I finally solved the ventilation in and out of the engine and boat, more or less...

The engine will have fresh air in from starboard and the boats mechanical ventilation will go out on port side. These boxes - in same shape as the rear windows - will have each one 110 mm stainless waterlock-tube for air in/out and three tankventilators each. Two fueltanks, two watertanks, one black- and one greywatertank: six in total.
Nice to have these ugly ones hidden behind the future beutiful chrome bars...

I'm convinced that boats needs mechanical ventilation. During the summer i got some rain inside the boat - 1 - 2 liters max - and it didn't dry until two weeks had past. Now this was without dorado boxes and windcollectors etc but on the other hand I didn't have any interior or floor.

So I plan to construct a device witch runs the ventilation fan from the solar & wind as soon as the batteries are fully charged. And of course when engine is running. There should maybe be some kind of intelligence to run the fan in the morning ( before sun/wind raise) to get the night moister out - if any. Hmm, now I just need more time for this too... ;-)
