Actually the cockpit is ready for sandblasting and paint! I've added some Jack-Stay fastenings in the corners - but no photos yet. The idea is that you don't hit your knees into them when they are in the corners. A problem could be that there is  only four of them.

Anyway, I'm startingover with stainless welding from the bow and going aft.

A small tube was welded from the forepeak to the outside of the bow. The plan is to have pressurised seawater flowing the anchor chain on it's way up. :-) On port side there will be another tube but for electrical cables to the lower lanterns and the bow lights. I really wanted bow lights! In Scandinavian waters we often more head to a slooping rock and during the - in summertime - very long twilight, it's very good to see what you are doing...
The waterstay was sturdy but not so nice looking. I removed a big amount of steel and got the result showed to the left.

Below you se the parts halfway done. The bollards is specially made to handle the anchor chains but certainly needed in bad weather morrings with other boats.
