Oktober...dark and lots of rain
My digital camera gave up and there been only a few photos taken for a while.

A milestone is reached! The rudder is painted and in mounted into place! All bearings works well and it's easy to turn the rudder by hand gripping the rudderpost only. Good!

No picture - but no one will ever see the rudder anyway ;-)

On aft deck there is now pushpits on the roof and dorado boxes is in place.
A sturdy feet with possibility to tie something to it. Comes handy for the dinghy when laying on aft deck.

Again the pushpit fastenings is a welded flatbar onto deck with a stainless bolt. So hopefully no "brown lines" on deck.

Left is a lot of polishing. Boring but worth the trouble.

Aft deck hatches ready to be mounted...have to paint hull first of course.
After some planning the deckhatches was placed and flatbar-frames where welded in. The considiration is decklayout, where does all the gear on deck comes and where do I walk and stand etc. Inside it's more frame and stringers to considere then the placement. And maybe most importand is the estetic look outside.

There will be seven hatches: One size 70 at front then two 30, two 50 and two of size 60 on the aft deck roof. All Lewmar Ocean.
Sorry for the low quality of pictures. But for the moment the boat is very dirty from all grinding. I will grind the three remaning hatches then a huge cleaning!

Next step is anchoring mechanics. Where to place my Project 1500 windlass. Chain path on deck? Could it be a long 316 plate glued onto deck? I have to move the chain roller on the bow also. And how wind the starboard anchor?  I havn't bought it yet but it will probably be a 30 Kg Bruce copy. No chain on this one, I'll use a 20mm multiplait with lead inside.

Major plan of anchoring is:
1 st Main: 30 Kg CQR with 60 m 12mm chain.
2:nd Main: 30 Kg Breeze with 80 m 18 mm lead multiplait.
Aft "Lunch" anchor: 15 Kg Breeze with 5 m 10 mm chain and 50 meter 16 mm multiplait.
